- Who We Are
Established in 2012, CMP operates within the design and construction industry for the purposes of representing Owners during preconstruction, construction phase and postconstruction phases of the project. As consultants and advisors, we are committed to delivering results within our core competencies, which include such service offerings as Owner Representative, Executive Program Management, Project Controls, and Construction Audit and Advisory Services. Our services represent a value proposition for Owners seeking advisory partners with demonstrated capabilities in the delivery of large complex programs which require heavy coordinated communication, effective partnering strategies, elevated technical skill and proven relationship management results.
- Philosophy and Methodology
CMP employs Lean Project Methodology and practices that identify inefficiencies in process, protect and certify cost, eliminate project waste, support and enhance project management plans and objectives that demonstrate substantial value for Owners. As Certified Construction Auditors, we review, certify and segregate cost from pre-GMP development to post close out phases of the project in accordance with guidelines set forth by the NACA (National Association of Construction Auditors). The unique combination of project management and fiscal analysis adds a greater level of accountability, increased project cost savings, avoidance and recovery. Our service model is designed for maximum project implementation results.
- Our Services
CMP provides services during each phase of your project. Throughout the pre-construction phase, we help analyze and fine tune the construction budget and assist with strategy for evaluating delivery methods, contract models, project phasing, value engineering, benchmarking historic cost and escalation, pull-session planning as well as negotiating terms and conditions of the construction GMP agreement to protect the financial interest of the project and the Owner. During construction, we serve as the financial advocate for the Owner as well as assist with program oversight and governance. At closeout, we help the Owner ascertain and reconcile final GMP cost and determine whether the contract requirements have been fulfilled.
The objective during each Owner engagement is to effectively monitor and control the construction costs. This includes establishing and implementing procedures to protect and mitigate Owner risk, reducing/eliminating contractor discretionary spending, controlling allowances, contingency spend, non-allowable cost in Change Orders, etc. Supporting the Owner’s program and protecting the interest of the project to the letter and spirit of the contract.
